Art Festival at Australia, 2012

兔子爷 Rabbit Gods Goes South

Rabbit Gods Goes South is an interactive outdoor LED screen work. Selected by the Western Australian Government and exhibited in Australia in 2012. The technique of camera capture recognition and code calculation to generate a graphic group is used in the work. Inspired by slot machines and historical stories, driven by the speed at which people walk, screen content can generate up to 6,000 non-repetitive images from 25 original images.

This work attempts to explore how the continuation of the disappearing local culture can be continued in a technical context through an international graphic and interactive language.
